Meeting Point: Nazwa || MAP LINK || 24°59’34.3″N 55°39’53.0″EPLEASE NOTE THAT LOCATION IS NOT THE SAME AS THE LADIES DRIVE AS THEY NEED SOME PRIVACY…
WE WILL MEET A BIT FURTHER DOWN THE HATTA OMAN ROAD AFTER THE NAZWA SHOPS…Meeting Time: 2:30pm
Drive Start: 3:00pm sharp!
Drive End: ~sundownDrive Terrain: medium technical dunes, big dunes
DO MARSHALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY PARTICIPATION OF ANY ILL-EQUIPPED OR UNSUITABLE VEHICLE!-A FULL TANK OF FUEL IS A MUST!
-IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CARRY A COMPATIBLE RADIO TUNED TO DO FREQUENCIES FOUND HERE (RADIO FREQUENCIES) PLEASE READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL AND GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS OF THE DEVICE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW TO MANUALLY INPUT A FREQUENCY!! ANYONE WITHOUT A PROPERLY CONFIGURED RADIO, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE DRIVE, FOR SAFETY REASONS!Checklist:
a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
d) Compatible Radio is a must.
e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).Hope to see you all there for some Friday fun \M/
What is the meaning of PM. I am a project manager = :-B PM. But Asume that PM drive means something difference?? 😕
In this case its “PM” meaning afternoon drive the same way AM and PM are used for 12 hour time(example the meeting time 2:30PM). Technically they are short for ante and post meridiem but thats not really important.
Okay :thanks: I am from mainland Europe and still not used to this PM and AM. But okay let’s forget it back to the drive. I hope that I can make it. B-)

@john.xterra I will admit had to use google to check the spelling :p.For some reason I thought it was “meridien” instead of the correct “meridiem”.Hello Guys,
since the big upgrade on DO site, I am unable to post quick messages neither to open a new topic 🙁
(Am I alone with this, or some of you figured it out already how to do it? If yes pls advise :thanks: )My question is if any of our dear Marshals – hopefully many of them will read this -, would be so nice as to arrange a Saturday morning / afternoon drive – considering the long weekend ahead of us.
I know that we have plenty of options already, but I will attend the Indiana Jones screening at Dubai Opera (with a real symphonic orchestra 😀 ) on Friday and I am afraid that I couldn’t catch it if I participate on the Friday PM drive.
Oman wadi drive is not an option either – unfortunately.I know that this may sound like a real 1st-world problem but not doing any offroading :drive: on this long weekend will hurt me really…

We already have something in mind for saturday gabor… a local drive may be posted soon… however it most probably will be a fewbie and above drive with limited registrations!

Hey Gabor, I just checked your permissions and I am able to see quick reply and post reply. As for new topic in the trips sections, only marshals are allowed to do that 🙂

I meant to miss the quick messages on top of the homepage – this was the easiest way to reach out to the community whithout opening any new topic. Are you planning to bring this feature back?
