Beginner Tips — Where to Start with Dubai Offroaders

Hi everyone, just joined DO and feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the different courses, trips, and gear requirements. Can someone break it down for a complete beginner? I drive a 2022 Nissan Patrol V6 (stock). Is that okay for newbie drives? Do I need to modify anything before attending? Also, is the Essential Course mandatory before joining trips, or can I just come along to a beginner event first to see if I like it?
