2 Star Sunday Morning Al Badayer

Etiquette:* 1) Registering and not coming along may stop others from joining and is easily avoidable, so please be courteous and withdraw if you can’t make it 2) Be punctual 3) Any participants not registered on the forum site will not be allowed to join the drive 4) Passengers in registered participant vehicles are not obligated to register and are free to join *Checklist:* a) Fully functional 4×4 vehicle with full tank of fuel b) Air compressor in working condition c) Compatible radio d) Refreshments for you and your passengers e) Off-road flag attached to vehicle f) A functional fire extinguisher, appropriately installed inside the vehicle. *IMPORTANT:* a. The Driver of the vehicle must have a Valid UAE Driving License and the vehicle, driver and passengers must be covered by an appropriate insurance cover. b. The Driver and all passengers of the vehicle should have read and be aware of the disclaimer of Dubai Offroaders, that they indemnify all the officials and marshals of Dubai Offroaders and that they themselves bear full responsibility for any risk of vehicle or property damage, bodily injury or death while participating in this extreme adventure sport. c. This drive is not recommended for children below the age of 3 years. d. Any child on the drive must be secured in an age-appropriate car seat, or bolster seat. e. Seat belts must be always worn by the driver and all passengers.

Important Notes & Convoy Instructions

Registration Cutoff: 11:59 PM Night PriorEvent registration closes at 11:59 PM on the evening prior to the event to finalize convoy rosters, vehicle groups, and marshal ratios. No last-minute or on-site registrations are permitted.
WhatsApp Coordination GroupRegistered participants will be coordinated via an exclusive WhatsApp drive group prior to departure for live GPS location updates, weather advisories, and marshal announcements.
Meeting Point Punctuality & 100% Full Fuel TankArrive strictly on time at the designated meeting point with a 100% full fuel tank. Deflation, equipment checks, and safety briefings begin promptly at the meeting time. Convoys depart on time and cannot wait for late arrivals.
Front & Rear Recovery Points & Mandatory GearVehicles must be genuine 4x4 with operational low-range gearing, robust front and rear rated recovery points, mounted sand safety flag (minimum 2m), tyre deflator & gauge, and a functional UHF/VHF radio walkie-talkie.
Convoy Discipline & Safety RulesMaintain a safe distance of 3 to 4 car lengths between vehicles. Always maintain visual contact with the car behind you in your rear-view mirror. Never change convoy order or overtake without marshal permission. If stuck, stay calm inside your vehicle and notify the marshal via radio.
Member-Only Event ClassificationAll weekly desert events are member-only community convoys organized exclusively for active Dubai Offroaders club members holding the required star rating (2★ and above). These are practical club events, not beginner instruction or training courses.
