    Why you not coming ?

Not today Ali. I would have loved to come though, but I am now here for only a couple of days more before going back to Bangalore. So the family has become more possessive over the weekends. Next week, if we can have an early morning drive, and then I will show up for sure Insha’Allah ๐Ÿ˜€

It was my first official drive as lead at Dubai Offroaders. Thank you guys for the great support and excellent driving, making the drive a success!!! :thanks:

On a personal note, it was the biggest convoy I ever lead โ€“ 14 cars in total and it turned out to be one of my favorite drives :ymblushing:

I believe today everybody drove very well with good enthusiasm and followed the convoy discipline. It was absolutely a smooth and relaxing drive and no troubles at all โ€“ no damages, no popout, no broken bumpers – only happy faces :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :-BD :-BD :-BD

I should appreciate each one of you for the confidence and skill in climbing dunes thereby achieving Chief Marshalโ€™s challenge, so quickly ๐Ÿ˜ฎ :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Special appreciation to Firoz and his spouse for their competition among themselves for climbing pink rock ๐Ÿ˜€ which both of them achieved at ease :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Thank you Ali for your confidence on me. I later realized, you assigned this task to me for a specific purpose and indeed it was a pleasant surprise for me to receive it on the spot, on sands and in presence of our colleagues :ymblushing: You made my day. Thank you Chief once again :thanks:

Tushar!!! I owe you buddy, for the great support and guidance. Without your support, this drive wouldn’t been a success. You were in perfect control of the situation, making me free to take any chance. Thank you very much :ymhug: :thanks:
Looking forward for many such drives in futureโ€ฆโ€ฆ. see you all again :drive: :-BD

Today, I had the pleasure of being led by both, the oldest (No Ali, not in age) and the newest marshal (G Kumar – :ymapplause: :ymapplause: ). Both with extremely different styles, but truly pleasurable to drive with them both.

The first part of the convoy led by Kumar was at a perfect pace. Keeping in mind the varied cars (Wranglers, LC, Pajeros and Fortuner) all in the same convoy, I must say that Kumar chose the route quite well. 3 Pajeros in the convoy and not one of them had any additional bumper damage, this is a true testament of his lead skills. Keeping safety in mind, his regular updates on oncoming traffic of quads and safaris etc was most welcoming.

The second leg which was the return journey being led by Ali was altogether a different experience for me personally. Following Ali in my Pajero was an absolute task for me, with not only having to keep up with his pace but also the pendulum like swaying between dunes. Thoroughly enjoyed it Ali bhai, never thought I would be able to keep up with you, although I know you always had one eye on your rear mirror adjusting your pace accordingly. And I must say that I appreciate your stopping at frequent intervals to take stock of the few cars following you. :thanks:

Kumar – heartiest congratulations to you my friend. Truly well deserved. :YMAPPLAUSE: :YMAPPLAUSE: :YMAPPLAUSE: :-BD :-BD :-BD
