24 August 2012 – Marathon Drive
Meeting Time: 0545Hrs
Meeting Place: Emarat Petrol Station – Maliha Road (Sharjah-Kalba Road S 116) http://www.dubaioffroadlive.local/forums/sharjah-kalba-road.phpPhase – I
Drive Starts: 0600Hrs
Drive Ends: 0900Hrs (Al Badayer)Drive Type: Newbie + +, Intermediate
Terrain: Tracks and DunesPhase – II
Drive Starts: 0930Hrs (Al Badayer)
Drive Ends: 1230Hrs (Al Faqa)Drive Type: Intermediate
Terrain: DunesExpected Temp : 30°C – 43°C
Expected Humidity : 70% – 21%The Phase I will be an easy and fast drive. The target is to reach Badayer by 0900Hrs. Then will start Phase II with intermediate level. Phase II is strictly for minimum two star holders.
The people who are not early birds can join from Badayer. Expect to finish the Phase II before the Prayer by 1230Hrs at Al Faqa so peoples who registered for Exploration – West of Al Faqa can join their drive after the prayer.Most welcome for Senior Members and Marshalls.
Please carry enough water, rehydration drinks and food stuff for yourself and your passengers. Make sure your car is in good condition. Your car must be equipped with front and rear towing point and with the necessary Offroad Gear.
