Congrats to all the upgrades, it’s great to see folks pursuing our passion and getting into the technical side smoothly and with dedication ๐Ÿ˜€

There’s a line in a song by an early ’60’s band which goes “it’s a long and winding road that leads to your door”: in this case the door being the door of inner confidence and peace, plus the openness to ongoing learning that allows us to penetrate deeper into the desert together and more importantly to come back out together ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Faheem,

    There is no star for your petrol ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ =)) =)) =))

But of course you will have the star, you are in observation by the Marshals, don’t be upset ๐Ÿ™‚ .

keep driving . . very sooner the recognition will be in your pocket.

(of course i too feel that i am also not upgraded ๐Ÿ˜• :-w , but for sure seniors are checking my ability)

    keep driving and have fun..

Stars are nothing…just a measure of improvement of one’s own skills and the recognition of these skills by your fellow offroaders…which allows us to tackle progressively challenging drives as a group, together.
The stars just allow us to segregate the drivers into certain skill levels so that everybody is sufficiently challenged without getting uneasy or anxious.
It is quite akin to a swimming instructor not taking new swimmers to the deep end of the pool, initially.
There are absolutely no issues in earning the stars as long as one remains committed and regular on the drives…the 1st star comes easy…typically in 3-5 drives…and then it progressively gets tougher and more exacting with the addition of every supplementary star.
Believe me…it is equally rewarding and satisfying for me…if not more, as the person earning the stars to see absolute newbies getting transformed into seasoned outdoors men and for already skilled drivers to fine tune their driving and associated skills.
This was the basic objective of the initiative to start this group… and I look forward to all of you earning many more stars this season!!!
