Full Day Drive on 04th October 2013

    Day and Date: Friday, the 04th of October ‘2013 Full Day Drive.
    Drive Type: Intermediate to Advance Level .
    Meeting Point: To be Advised to Selected Participants
    Meeting Time : 08:30Hrs.
    Drive Start: 08:45Hrs.
    Drive Route:

    First Part of Morning Session will be 9am to 11.30am estimated. Starting point to be advised to selected participants and ending will be in Al Faqqa

    Break in Al Faqqa for Refreshments, Fuel and Prayer.

    1.30pm Convoy will then proceed to Sweihan by road and then Drive starts at 2.30pm Sweihan to Al Ain. Drive will end somewhere near Al Ain.

    Drive Terrain: Nice picturesque Red Dunes or Soft Sands in first session and soft sand with high dunes in the afternoon.
    Duration : Full Day Drive.
    Drive ends at Sundown approx. 18:30Hrs.

    Checklist:-
    a) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition, with tow hooks at front & rear and with the spare tyre in good conditions.
    b) Compatible Radio is a must.
    c) Carry all necessary offroad gears, in good condition.
    d) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
    e) Full Tank fuel must

    Hi Guys,

    I have received couple of PMs requesting to join for this drive. We will be finalizing this convoy on thursday mrng and selected members will be notified the coordinates by PMs or SMS.

    Pls be informed that this drive level will be fast paced with Intermediate to Advance level and hence the convoy will be selected accordingly to maintain the momentum/quality of the drive.

    The terrain and the nature of the drive stipulate that only true intermediate drivers, with a minimum of 2 stars participate in the drive.
    This is not only to maintain the pace & excitement of the drive but for the participant’s safety & security as well, as an inexperienced driver could have a serious mishap which might be detrimental not only to the vehicle but to the occupant’s life & limb, as well.

    This should be interesting to say the least. Humayun never fails to impress me with his leads. Add that to the quality drivers registered. It should be a good one. Hope I’m invited and nothing else comes up.
