Day and date: Friday December 23rd, 2016
Drive Type: All Level with multiple convoys
Meeting Point: Tawi As Sadd

Drive Start: 1130
Drive End: 1800
Duration: ~6-7 hours
Drive Route: Tawi as Saad through Sweihan to Nahel via Sand Mountain
Drive Terrain: Lots of big soft sandy dunes with a few tracks here and thereLet’s go spray some sand in the big dunes of Sweihan.
Please note the estimated route is approximately 50 km so it is imperative to have a full tank when arriving at the meeting point.
This is a long day drive so be sure to have enough food and drinks with you to keep you full and satisfied.
Also please note there are very limited shops for food and drinks so please come with all of your provisions already packed.
The last petrol station near the meeting point is the As Saad ADNOC: https://goo.gl/maps/cqmSFdwhDVq

The meeting point is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours from Dubai so it is important to plan to travel accordingly.

Checklist:
a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
d) Compatible Radio is a must.
e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
Please note this is a long-day drive with meeting time at 11am.

Confirm that I’m in! Just have collected my car from garage after some modifications on rare and front bumpers 🙂 As well I got a deflator, a rope, a shovel and a flag!!! So a bit better prepared for my second drive 😉 But… I still didn’t manage to buy radio 🙁 Maybe anyone has two to give me for a day please?
