Thanks Frankyno. Now I know 😀
:drive: This was a drive to remember, we managed to hit all the big spots and made it all the way to Badayer before sunset..
John started the drive with a nice pace and took us to Fossil rock and Camel Rock, once we crossed the highway. John Gave me the opportunity to lead and navigate to convoy to 2nd of December. We faced some very technical dunes at a newbie ++ level. Once we reached 2nd December we had time to spare and decided to push for badayer.Since everyone handled themselves very well, we decided to up the level and drove to a fewbie+ level. before we reached Big red we got to do a few loong ridges B-) , not very high, but perfect to start feeling how the cars handles.
We finished at the inflating point! Every one drove very well with no stucks and just a few 2nd attempts. :ymapplause:
Thank you all, Thank you @John.Xterra :thanks:
Great drive yesterday with the fewbie convoy. All drivers showed great skills and good confidence which helped us make it all the way to Badayer.
Sebastien led the convoy from Faya to Badayer and he did an amazing job; we reached Big Red exactly at sunset. All in all, we passed by all the landmarks you can think of (Fossil rock, Camel rock, Faya bowl, Pink rock, Big Red). See you next Friday!Fantastic drive with Asim this past Friday.
A nice variety of dunes, technical spots, soft sand, larger climbs. The pace picked up during the 2nd half of the drive from 2nd December to Badayer shops as the convoy shrunk when some left to go home.
Don’t remember your name Sweep but thanks for your patience.
Until next time.
