    Day and date: Friday 13th November
    Drive Type: Unlucky for some!
    Meeting Point:
    Google maps users (just copy and paste in Google maps): 24.908685, 55.737936
    GPS users: N24° 54.543′ E55° 44.296′
    Meeting Time: 1.45pm
    Drive Start: 2.00pm
    Drive End: 5.40pm
    Duration: 3.5hrs approximately
    Drive Route: Sand & Tracks
    Drive Terrain: Ridges, Bowls and soft sands!

    This will be an all level drive starting from Al Rowdah Mosque. The sands are getting busy at this time of year but this starting and finish location guarantees that we will see minimal tracks and other convoys so come and join us for some Friday fun in the sands. :drive:

    Checklist:
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

    Excellent drive. Challenging and learned a bit more. Seems new tires need pretty much same pressure as old….thanks to the marshals.

    I had the pleasure to follow Duncan’s lead today and it was indeed exciting!
    I had a lot of fun and good-free-legal adrenaline shots 🙂
