Will keep you posted Johan, you can expect a drive on the Friday falling on 17th Feb, so keep a watch on the Forum in the meanwhile, loads of events coming up including the Drive in Desert-Movie night on the 9th of Feb (Thursday)

    Tushar,

Why can’t we have a newbee drive on 10th afternoon, just to catchup with the memories of the previous night and make the best of the winter evening.

:thanks: a lot Ahmed for an extremely entertaining and adrenaline filled afternoon.

The drive started off at around 2:30 PM off Al Ain Road. From the get go there was some advanced side sloping that gradually got toned down due to the extremely soft sand ( safety of the drivers always the priority in the minds of our lead marshall )….

We then navigated some tricky and twisty dunes with the occasional surprise drop… this put the skills of all the drivers to the test.

Save for the occasional stucks on the crest of the short dunes the pace was quite fast…

Great Response from Satwinder and Tushar in keeping the convoy moving…

On speaking to the members of the photography group that joined us on this drive, they were truly pumped with Enthusiasm and have a great respect for our passion for offroading… They’ve promised to bombard us with many pictures and I’m sure the drive will be covered from every angle trough their lenses.

Looking forward to the next one as always…

    Cheers,

:thanks: Ahmed Bhai for the amazing lead.

Had full fun of the drive!!! :drive: In all aspects it was a real technical drive, wherein the participant’s skills were tested to core.

Special thanks and appreciation to the senior members – Tushar, Satwinder, Khalil, Saif and Brian for their hard efforts to keep the convoy moving.

Thank you all for making today’s drive a great success. Look forward for similar drives in future.

    :thanks: :drive:

    Tushar:- Waiting for the pictures!!!

That was one of the most interresting drives this season. Different skills were tested and I personnaly enjoyed it big time.

Thank you Ahmed for introducing this new area, the path was well chosen and having a known end point (Iftar Bowl) and an unknown starting point was particularly exciting!!!

    Cheers

A true test for Advanced OFf Roaders, of Navigational Skills, Driving Techniques, and very tricky dunes. No wonder there were stucks and the sweep team did a god job.

Thanks Ahmed Bhai and all for a wonderful experience.

What next in the pipe line Ahmed Bhai? a tresure hunt with different coordinates in the Desert??

    Cheers !!!

Excellent shots Brian, Subodh, Anjum and Tushar !!!
The photos capture the excitement of the quite well…but probably more attention could have been devoted on the unspoilt scenery and the beautiful high Dunes that we traversed during the trip…
