Hey guys, i have missed the last trip but had the fortune of having an accidental trip today almost the same way.. one of my friends got a 03 explorer and obviously he went to explore 😀 on his own , then guess what, yeah ur right , he got stuck , it is the desert infront of sharjah cement factory.. anyways he called me and asked for help. i went there deflated and got in .. and damn it was pretty hard , very light sand and a lot of dunes , finally i found him – offcourse he gave me the co-ordinates – and he was hell stuck on top of a hill , it was pretty hard to climb up to him and figure a way to get him out .. anyway i GOT THERE HOOKED HIM UP AND USED SOME COMMON SENSE ON HOW TO GET HIM OUT. and man this was really more of a lesson to me. i learned a lotttt… and i had the courage “somehow” to go in alone and have me some fun after the recovery. The track there is very very nice , very challenging and hard , i think we should all go and check that place out – THAT’S IF YOU DONT ALREADY KNOW ABOUT IT 😀 – i just wanted to share that with u guys .. as because of y’all i wouldnt have gone at all… :yahoo:

Nature is not a joke…it needs to be respected.
Your friend made a mistake by venturing out alone…you made another one by going in all alone…
Any way all is well that ends well, I am happy for you that you were able to help your friend out…
potential Marshal material??? eh guys???The whole exercise that we do here in the trips is that we understand the dangers & pitfalls & learn how to handle these in a controlled environment,
invite your friend on one of our trips…& ask him never to go out alone…ever…Call one of us, if you ever have an emergency of this sort, we will come anytime…
