    Day and date: Friday 10TH APR 2015
    Drive Type: Newbie – Fewbie – Intermediate

    Meeting Point: Murqquab (west) mosque at E66 dubai al ain road
    Google maps users: 24.820606, 55.576144 / just copy and paste in Google maps
    GPS users: 24°49’14.2″N 55°34’34.1″E

    [color=#FF0000]Meeting Time:[/color] 02:30 pm
    Drive Start: 02:45 pm
    Drive End: 06:30 pm – sunset
    Duration: 3 hours minimum

    Drive Terrain: soft dunes, Side Sloping, Ridge Riding

    The drive will be followed by a Barbecue at the lake. Please bring all food and equipment for the barbecue if interested.

    Checklist:
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

    So are we finishing our trip near Al Qudra/Cycle track? Or are there more lakes in the desert which I dont know about 😉

    The lake is Sweihan is pretty famous also….wonder which lake it will be this Friday

    After having to work on too many Friday’s in a row, I’m finally off on the 10th.
    So I’m in!
    Looking forward to a fun drive with you guys and very curious about the lake as well.
    I can’t stay for the BBQ though I wish i could.

    Sorry for my ignorance, but what’s the meaning of the meeting point “TBM” . Is it possible to give the GPS cords like before in the majority of the previous drives.

    Feels good to be back to join the DO family after a long break. Coming back from vacations tomorrow and will hopefully join the :drive: if my car is out from the garage
