… when you drive on a highway (like 611) and you look at the dunes surrounding you and can hardly keep yourself away from checking how soft is the sand in this area :))
1. You contemplate sweeping the sand up from your bedroom/bathroom floor where you undressed after a drive but decide against it as it will end up there again next week
2. The corners of your shower have little sand dunes in each of them
3. You try to google videos of little kids with their parents off-roading to convince your kids how other kids love it
4. Try to convince your wife how it is such a great opportunity to spend family time together in the dunes (the space is so confined we can communicate nicely as a family)
5. Convincing the wife that money spent on modifications is like an investment and will hold their value (caution here though as she may turn that around and say the same thing about diamonds)
6. Sneaking out during the day from work to go to the auto shops so that she doesn’t catch you there again in the evenings or on the weekends
7. Having your mechanic keep the job card under other papers so the wife can see the bill and then discretely passing him the money out of her sight
8. In between drives looking for a “quick little fix” of dirt patch or mini dunes on the side of the road just to get the tires floating a teeny bit
9. Keeping your eyes peeled for the urban driver stuck in some sand on the side of the road; just so you can perform a quick recovery and feel like superman
10. Feel a bit like a caged animal driving in congested areas of town or traffic; like you wanna just rip off and drive over some curbs and rocks to get out of there
11. By Monday night you have your clothes laid out, radio charged, GPS programmed, ice box packed, and just waiting for Friday
12. Buy a new compressor and go outside and deflated and inflate all of your tyres twice…just for fun
13. Spend time during the day writing this list when I should be workingCan’t wait for the next drive!!

… it’s Tuesday, and you still hope for a midweek madness drive 😕 as last friday drive happened so long ago, and next friday is soooo far 😐
A browser tab with dubaioffroadlive.local is always open in your Phone and Computer just to keep an eye on the next drive.
