My first drive with DO (as not a passenger). The newbee convoy was well led by Tushar with Jerry at sweep and the experience of Sultan, Saif, Krishnan, Ashok, Chris, Firoz in between. During the drive, Tushar explained the process of recovery to us newbees, when and how to use the different ropes and straps and from which side recovery needs to be done. For me the first half of the drive was smooth though I had to take couple of second attempts. Later when I jumped over a dune (and got a crack in the front bumper in the process), I started slowing down at the top to prevent another jump which led to two cresting instances, one of them being the tallest of all surrounding dunes nearby #:-s . It was a great learning experience with a lot of positives as I did more than what I thought was possible in my first drive 🙂 . :thanks: Firoz for your tips and advice on the FJ Cruiser.

Thanks to everyone, specially Tushar for the great lead and Jerry for the great sweep (and for all the wonderful previous drives I had been with you) :ymapplause: . Look forward to more newbee drives.
