Hi All,

Recently in March 2016, I visited Saudi Consulate in Dubai and they confirmed me that there is a ban on travelling by road in private vehicles. They did not tell any time period for the ban neither they were sure when they will lift up the ban. But yes this ban is imposed on all the Expats willing to travel by Car to Saudi Arabia.

So either you can travel by Bus or by Plane. I hope this will be helpful.

Please update me if you get any information regarding uplifting the ban.
