A completely new way of registering for drives has been developed and released. You can click on a link and you are registered for the drive. There are a few minor changes which I will do, but it is functional and active now. Just click on “Register for trip / Remove your name” link once and you are registered for the drive. If you click that again, your name will be removed from the drive list. Make sure your car make and model and your mobile number is correct in your profile as first post will be edited regularly by the marshals to update the people on the drive with their car make and model and their numbers. This is done to make it easier for you to register on Dubai Offroaders trips. This is the first time in my knowledge any club has done such a thing!
Also, the thanks option is available for first posts in all the other forums apart from the trips forums. Both of them are using the same functions and the same system. Difference is that one is coded for drives, and the other for thanks. Thanks feature can be used to appreciate efforts of other members or marshals in forums such as Technical. Hope you enjoy the new features and hopefully, they make registering easier than before for you!
There is no need to quote huge posts and add your name. Just click on that link. It is found at the bottom of the first post in each thread. ๐

She looks better now!
March 29, 2012 at 8:20 am #16445Thanks Thanseer and G.Kumar. These features have been customized for mobile view and added to the mobile version too. You can now use the new feature of registering for trips or thank people on your mobile too.
March 29, 2012 at 8:24 am #16446You will see links on your mobile instead of the buttons. It is done so that the loading time on the mobile for the page is minimized as much as possible. Buttons will slow down the loading. Drill and functionality stays the same as the main website.
