What’s your opinion on the new colour scheme?
Hamza my humble opinion, changes are good, but tooo many changes are not a good idea.
You should review the site annually or atmost bi annually only, Just my opinion.

Thank you for your opinion Ali Adnan. I was not expecting a 100% positive feedback this time. But I believe it is our ability to change and adapt better ways that lets us grow so quickly, and not become stagnant. This change seemed harmless as there is no functionality change. I have seen it everywhere, again and again, that when the internet giants (Google and Facebook), who are changing all the time, implement something major, there is more negative feedback than positive, without realizing that there must be something more than just boredom which led to this.
I am hoping that with this change, I have removed the problem of menu scrolling over the forums in some browsers. iPAD problem should be solved now. Blackberry tablet should also view the website fine now. I do not have the devices which were giving the problem, so I will need the members feedback on this when they have viewed the website.
And, in my opinion, an offroad website is better off with orange instead of blue as it’s primary colours.

Rest you should keep on doing what you deem fit, and people will opine as per their perception, you should pick up the good ideas and ignore the bad ones. this is the way to progress.

But I m not good with colors anyway … so it must be that I got used to the blue as our color identity :-B

There is no other purpose of working on this website, as it gives me only satisfaction back when I see people are happy with my work and are finding their way more easily across the website or are finding it easier to just click on a button to register for a trip 🙂

Hi Hamza..
I didn’t like the whole appearance of the website in orange color. May be it is just because, I am obsessed with the previous blue color (which is my personal favourite 😉 )
Also I feel the top banner has become less attractive, a kind of contrast issue. Don’t know whether it was modified or difference in appearance due to the changed background.
However, take into consideration the majority opinions and decide accordingly.

Seems like everyone is for blue. The top banner is necessary because the menu issue scrolling over the forums has to be eliminated permanently which we achieved by the banner. I will redesign the banner and revert the website back to blue tonight 🙂

not sure if you’re aware of kuler. use it to generate a nice color theme to use.
http://kuler.adobe.comanother method i use is to check wordpress themes. there’s like a million good ones out there.

No, was not aware of kuler. Thanks Sattu. 🙂 I was playing with colours and I fell in love with the orange as soon as I saw it. Hence, I thought let’s put it without any delay :p
She has been reverted back to blue, the top menu has been redesigned to match this skin.
