    Guys,

I sold my Wrangler (it was really hard to see it go). But fortunately it will stay in the group, Ricardo is the new owner :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Now I am looking for a 2002-2004 LC or Patrol in good condition. In case you closely know anyone who is looking to sell his car, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance …

    Khalil

His family has gotten bigger Masha’Allah. He is the father of two now, and one of them being only a couple of months old, Wrangler is not a suitable for the family anymore.

Now he requires a bigger, safer family car, which can also be used in the sand. ๐Ÿ˜€

And I personally would prefer a Land Cruiser or a Nissan Patrol over a Wrangler any day. I have owned and driven both.

    Yes 200%

Don’t look into only going or climbing anywhere.

    Consider the following;
    Reliability
    Stability
    Comfort level
    Safety etc…

    and many more…!

Hey Humayun, I am monitoring Dubizzle very closely. My preference though would be to get a car through contacts… those two brands specifically are frequently abused. and that is why I have posted it here.

@aemi98 …. LC is not better than jeep … Jeep is the best “offroad” vehicule in my opinion (I know many people do not share the same opinion).

Now, if you want a very good offroad vehicule, spacious, enough cargo, confortable on-road, good local support … Jeep will score very very low.

The above criteria were not my priorities before, now with a change in the familly, they are ๐Ÿ™‚ so with this LC and Patrol are the best ๐Ÿ˜‰ note that I haven’t factored the price so far, cuz they are indeed overpriced. If with add price/value in the equation, perhaps other models are indeed better. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Sattu Paaji,

There are many Patrol lovers in our group…..

I am not so experienced in desert for comments but having been using LC since short while ago and spending around 5000 AED only on Original spare parts/making comparison of the same spare parts with Patrol, i also feel LC are better than Patrol..

Patrol’s diffs & chassis are supposedly stronger then LC (and most daily driven vehicles).. the 4.5 is a piece of crap however. both cars have the advantage that their mechanics & electronics are relatively simple so your average mechanic can mess around and fix stuff.

want an average, simple, low maintenance & reliable vehicle.. can’t go wrong with LC.

Disclaimer: Got both an LC & patrol.. need to get rid of both of them.

    I like your disclaimer Satwinder ๐Ÿ™‚ =)) =)) :))

    2004 prado …. I smell mileage reduction.

๐Ÿ™‚ Yeah I had that Impression as well. But the mileage is certified by Al Futeim, with a FSH with them since purchase.. I even got the service book with all the stamps (latest 3 weeks ago)… Can’t believe it.

Unless the guy had an insider… I think it’s genuin … A rare catch ๐Ÿ™‚
