Another Morning Drive for Early Birds….. :yesss:
This will be a Fewbie to Intermediate morning drive (not suitable for newbies)
Day and date : Friday, 29th June 2012
Meeting Time : 5.45 am
Meeting Point : Badayer Shops
Drive Start: 6.00 am
Drive Finish: 9.00 am
Area: Badayer to Iftar BowlSince the summer is reaching at its peak, it is preferred to start the drive very early in the morning by 6am to take advantage of relatively cooler temperature and finish by 9am before the temperature gets horrendous in sands.
Carry enough stock of drinking water / rehydration drinks. Temperature is expected to hover around 45 degree Celsius.
Please ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect conditionParticipants please refer to the list of equipments that one needs to carry for offroading and ensure the availability of all offroad gears in good condition for the drive. http://www.dubaioffroadlive.local/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1396

Every member will be assigned their convoy and lead marshal to contact. We will be having a common meeting point and end point. But convoys will take different routes as per the participant level and the lead marshals of respective convoys will decide the appropriate route. In case a member is unable to register before convoy allocation, he/she can report directly at the meeting point in time and the lead marshals will decide the convoy for the member.
Please strictly abide to the convoy rules and save the marshal’s number. You may contact your convoy staff for support and further details.
Marshals are requested to check the equipment of all members of their respective convoy. (All marshals – kindly confirm your participation)

Come on yaar….it would be real fun if u come…havent met since a very long time…i want recollect my memories how u lead the drive 🙂 …if u want i wl gve u a wake-up call… 😀
my last two drives were excellent (one with Ali :thanks: & the other with G.Kumar :thanks: ) hope this week coming drive will also be fun to drive with G.Kumar again. look foward to the drive with Dubai Offroaders family!

guys I need to cancel, my the gasket of my transmission is leaking like the private parts of some very unhealthy sailor that spend too much time watching the red lights.

tyn,,,in case of such intricacies that too on weekend nights when the drive is early mrng, it will be appreciated if u communicate via sms to lead marshall. Anyway i vl send the information this time, kindly take care r future…

A perfect Fun Drive!!!!!!!
We all met at the Badayer shops at 5.45 am. Tyn and Ashok couldnt make it for the drive…Tyn had some issues with his car and Ashok with his health….Today lead marshal was G Kumar and the convoy – Ganesh, Gerry, Amjed & Firoz.The drive started at 6.15 a.m. from the deflation point….I was the first car following the lead marshal, then Firoz, Amjed & Gerry as the sweep….the drive started very nicely…Kumar made us experience every bit of our driving skills…
As much as the climate was wonderful this morning, the same was the drive….excellent lead by Kumar :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: ……The best part was the convoy discipline and the momentum every one had during the drive…
We had some very minor stuck-ups which was resolved in micro-seconds 🙂 ….at one time we had Gerry and Amjed stuck together on a ridge…but were rescued in no time…
Crossing the big dunes with some amazing falls…..in which i had my rear bumper worn out (at last after a long time of 20 drives)….we reached the Iftar bowl exactly at 8.00am where each one of us tried climbing on the top….everyone succeeded atleast twice except myself & Firoz…no issues…theres always a next chance 😀 ….we spent some time at the bowl, had breakfast and then proceeded towards Al Badayer shops..
Overall the drive was very smooth, challenging and just awesome…..We all loved the way Kumar managed the entire drive without any major hicups and worries….
