Since most of us miss the Grand Iftar drive, Let’s make this drive as our Grand Iftar Drive. Come on all, let’s have a good time.
I would like to propose something maybe different. We drive for 2 hours, stop for Iftar diner, and then do another hour or 2 of night drive.
I also offer the following….one of you choose and pick up the food and I pay for it….I say this because I have no clue where or what food I should buy and would like to invite you guys for this dinner.
Robinson, thanks for the initiative, am sure the guys will pitch in the ideas. Also, sorry for taking so long but your problem regarding the descending posts order has been fixed. You will always see the “Register for Trip” in the right post now. It required some figuring out on the php side and required a lot of work. Anyhow, it’s done now. You do not need to switch to the ascending post order to register for trips now! 🙂
A day to night transition? Sounds like a good idea Robinson – i’m up for it.

My offer of paying for food is still open if there is a volunteer to pick it up from wherever you want.
Adding to my suggestion of day & night drive, I would also suggest we do more than 1 convoy when there are too many people, so the drive goes faster 😀
We could bring the food from abu dhabi but we would have to get it too early
I’m not sure the hotels would be open early
And even if we get, it would get cold by iftar time
Any volunteers from Dubai?

Firoz, Amjed…..I would have loved to volunteer….but unfortunately, I wont be available this friday….my car is still not ready…sorry guys 🙁
