Dubai Offroaders – DisclaimerNice drive report format Rob…. ๐ :-BD. Need your training for this new report version…. ๐
Infact, I posted this drive on member’s demand, but due to various reasons all those members couldn’t join the drive. Therefore we 3 sandbugs (Rob, Ganesh and myself) were the only remaining for the drive. We decided to make this drive happen and make the drive challenging and interesting taking advantage of the short convoy. Here comes as a surprise at the last moment, an offer from SIR to take us to a new unexplored area ๐ :-BD :thanks:
Awesome drive!!! :ymblushing: SIRji you rocked \M/ \M/ \M/ It was a splendid combination of very high and risky dune climbing, tricky & short dunes, soft patches, pace driving across the dunes, side sloping and repeated stunts are few to mention……… ๐ ๐ ๐
SIR exploited the advantage of short convoy of skilled offroaders and the untouched terrain to the maximum ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^
Great driving by Dada and Winchman :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

View Map: http://goo.gl/maps/oM69aAbsolutely Kumar….as u said….iam actually falling short of words to describe today’s awesome, fantastic, thrilling drive….. The meeting point was Badayer at 6.45 am and when i was on road, i really felt that Thanseer will be joining us and it was great to see him waiting for all of us to start the drive….
When asked about the area and the which point are we going to touch, Thanseer had just to say….I know the start point, but which point are we heading towards…no idea…..its all dunes, dunes and dunes…..thats the fun about desert driving..
We entered the sand through Madame. deflated and the first dune itself was a nice one to climb…Thanseer was the lead, followed by Kumar, then myself and Rob at the end…..There was no sweep as each one of us had to take care of ourselves spotting the car in front and follow it…..
Some minor stuck-ups, self recoveries and some pull….made the entire drive look so easy and smooth…….The whole area was totally new for all of us, except the lead and it was all big and huge dunes to cross sliding thru the softs and tricky sands…..no room for any slow down….
Everyone was on their nerve and the pace was absolutely amazing…..The winch man was needed once as Thanseer got stuck in a small pocket in the beginning…..and then the entire drive was just pace pace and pace……..
We hardly touched any plain lands…..Thanseer made us experience the entire tallest dunes in that particular area…..and this drive was SERIOUSLY a good test for the intermediate drivers like us…..uncountable turns and falls….sideways sliding and ridge cutting….
Thanseer gave us the feel of a great exploration drive….each one of us climbed all the tall dunes….. :thanks: Sir for the great experience…..
The climate even was in full support….dancing from 25 to 30 degrees max……
We also spotted some baby camels with the elder ones…..had some nice photography session at the two tree….and then headed back to Badayer for exit and reached Badayer by 11.15am…
Overall expererience was just unimaginable…….would love to have more and more drives like this……….
Thanks a ton Thanseer for the awesome lead and the new area….
Also a special :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: to Kumar and Rob for the great momentum and support….
Guys, please do not forget to see the pictures on our facebook page…. ๐

Kumar, Ganesh, Robinson & ThanseerThe Exploration:
WoooW….. What a drive…. ๐ !!!???….. No….What a team…. ๐ !!!!…. Am I right….???This was one of its kind of drive. Hats off you guys…. :ymhug: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: The level which we driven was advanced level not an intermediate. This drive was an actual exploration drive. Some areas we stop the car and walk around to check for the safe exit.
As Kumar and Ganesh penned, and rob delineated here are the full report. :thanks: ๐
Professional Offroaders met at the meeting point as scheduled. Surprisingly ๐ฎ I appeared there and Kumar offered me to lead the drive. :thanks: We entered from a place where nobody drove over there. After passing that area I understood why nobody is driving there. Very soft sand, Sharp turns, no place to get momentum and small dunes are waiting to swallow the car. Nobody will enjoy the drive this area except technical drivers and advanced level.
After those area we started to Hit the Dunes DO 2012 (Sponsored by WinchMan ๐ ). We climbed the top of the highest dunes. The dunes in this area are very heighted and the most of the dunes have a nice bowl top of it. So without knowing the exit point if someone climb top of this dune and land in the bowl then rest is history. There was one place myself, Kumar and Ganesh were on top of the dune and we were searching for the exit point. Rob was waiting down and he was so excited to come up and we were thinking how to get out from that place. I really appreciate the enthusiasm of Rob… ๐ First try, Second Try, Third Try and finally achieved it. ๐
After giving tribute to most of the highest dunes we started our signature drive. ๐ Another speed boat drive with sharp turns, side sloping, cresting, ridge cutting… There was no room to slow down. Overall this drive was a cocktail. I think everybody enjoyed this part.
After this speedy surfing we headed back to the exit point. On the way we took a little rest in Tree House and visited a small camel family. We could see there grandfather, grandmother, mother and son. Father was missing. Kumar was searching for missing father.
Ganesh proved in this drive that he is capable to handle any situation with his toy ๐ :ymapplause: and Rob, you are the WinchMan :ymapplause: :ymapplause: . Kumar, you are a cool lead man. :thanks:
Let us have more fun drive together with the same taste and hope to see you all for the next drive. ๐ :drive:
Thank you :thanks:
Thank you SIRji for the detailed report and for introducing a new challenging area to us. I was sure, it will be worth to offer you the lead and let you free, you will do wonders :ymblushing:
:yesss: no doubts, the drive was definitely an advanced level. One wrong turn or mistake by anybody…… we wouldn’t have been chatting here happily :-BD
Its never an easy task to attempt this drive route with a LWB Pajero and Ganesh we appreciate your skills for the smooth and safe driving :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: Rob!!! no comments…… ๐ you are our dear kamikaze Winchman ๐ no terrain will be challenging enough for you… ๐
For sure, we will together make many more such great drives in future :drive: :drive: :drive:
