Air Filters on a Pathfinder

    Ladies, Gents and Jessil… :rofl:

    anyhows… any advice or such like on air filters for the PF.

    Thinking more about cooling issues than anything else.

    Install a K&N filter on your car, available from Rami’s for most cars…
    that’s the best…do not go for any modifications on the filter, just replace the stock Filter IN THE SAME BOX…these additional cones & tubings are not recommended… :blink:

    or u can goto Up Parts … its in Mamzar Enoc Petrol Station, I got my K&N Air Filter fixed from there …. its a bit cheaper than Rami’s.

    Rami’s is on Sh. Zayed Road.

    Ali…you definitely need a vacation…
    Mohammad is right…Rami is next to Dnata…maybe you got confused with Robbies…that’s off SZR…& please do not go for the option with the extra tubing…even if the sales person promises better results…just remove the original & insert the K&N in the same slot/ box…it works beautifully…for almost all cars without exception…

    I am going to get Ali a map of Dubai.

    And done the straight swap… see how it works with cooling etc etc and u get a nice little sticker.

    Moi… I would never scare a cab driver !

    However it is funny hen u see the whites of their eyes surrounded by blood shots when they are braking hard screaming in terror !

    It’s okay… it was a nice drive to Abu Dhabi… I have the receipts for the fuel bills.

    The authoritativeness of the article not withstanding…I still prefer my own humble judgement,
    Basically cotton breathes better than paper…right?
    Cotton Gauze saturated in oil would trap more particles than paper…right?
    So there it goes…
    I have used K&N on all my cars from Nissan Patrol, to L/C VXR to Merc E-240 to Jeep wrangler,
    Got better performance & a cleaner engine, too…without any in-consistencies…all the time.

    Most auto manufacturers actively discourage any aftermarket enhancements…for a reason…
    after markets part is after all…a very big business…too :blink:
