Salalah Trip 2013?

While searching on the Forum, I can see that DO has organised trips to Salalah each year. Please advise if there is a plan to have another trip this year.

For doing a Salalah trip; we need atleast 3-4 days break.
If there is real interest from members; I think the management will definetely look into that. ( will wait for chairman’s posting 🙂
I been 3 times to Salalah for different purpose (one leisure and 2 business); would love to go there again…lovely place 🙂

I been 3 times to Salalah for different purpose (one leisure and 2 business); would love to go there again…lovely place 🙂It is indeed a must visit place…and there are a number of interesting drives that we can undertake around Salalah, but we have to look for a window of holidays where we get 3-4 days break…
E’id holidays are a mess in Salalah with visitors from KSA/ UAE & the rest of GCC flocking there in hoards, with the inevitable crowding & traffic Jams…and last year we had a number of fatal accidents too, involving visitors from UAE…so it should be best avoided during this period.
So let’s keep our fingers crossed for a more opportune time.
