Dubai Offroaders – Disclaimerquote GordonDK1973:The coordinates given refer to a meeting place in the sand dunes? As you live in Dubai Marina , I would suggest you use Al Qudra rd instead of Al Ain rd… (this is the road passing between Motor City and Arabian Ranches and has the famous cycling track alongside) .

Correct!!!
All those coming in from New Dubai i.e. Tecom, Gardens, JLT, JBR, Arabian Ranches etc. could take the route suggested by Iqsaan.
I will arrange for a pointer to be present 15 mins. prior to the meeting time, at the Tarmac closest to the meeting point. This point will be the intersection point of the road coming in from Al Lisailly with the road coming in from Al Qudra Road/ Jebel Ali Lehbab Road.
The co-ordinates for this second point being
N24 51.075 E55 20.700
Those coming in from Al’Ain Highway(E 66) will have to take Exit 37 immediately after the Camel Race track to Al Lisailly and then follow the Dual Carriageway, past the Dubai World and Emaar Stables to the intersection, co-ordinates of which are given above.
I am sure, finding the meeting point itself will be an exercise and a challenge for many.

0558307666Okay!!!
I will pass through Al’Ain highway and anybody who is uncertain of the meeting point could join me at the Eppco Petrol station on the Dubai Al’Ain highway at 14:50Hrs.
This is the next petrol station after the Emarat petrol station where we had been meeting for the drive 2&3 weeks back, keep on driving straight after Emarat, past Rugby Sevens…which will be visible to your right.
This Eppco Petrol station is about 12-13kms from the Dubai outlet Mall.
THE CO-ORDINATES FOR THIS EPPCO PETROL STATION ARE
Lat/Lon hddd.mm.mmm
N24 57.528 E55 29.832
Please put your radios on channel 4 and wait for instructions.
PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE AS IT MIGHT WELL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO GUIDE ANYBODY VERBALLY, WHO IS LATE AT THE EPPCO PETROL STATION, TO REACH THE MEETING POINT, WITHOUT A GPS. -
