I would love to join this drive … But is the radio a necessity ?

    October 1, 2013 at 4:21 am #27449

A radio is always good to have but if you are just starting offroading, then it is ok to not buy one for your first drive. If however you enjoy it and wish to keep coming out with DO, then it becomes a mandatory piece of equipment for communication and safety which is at our core value as a group.

The same for all other bits of needed equipment such as a gauge and a flag.

I hope you have a good first outing with DO. Enjoy!

Honda Pilot is a very nice & quiet Road vehicle but this is not a vehicle that has been designed for offroad use, Having said that a vehicle is just a tool and a Honda Pilot should be able to perform without any problem in the hands of an experienced, capable driver.
The combination of a new offroad driver and a Honda Pilot will not be a good combination, though.
