Day and Date: Saturday, 09th November ‘2013 Afternoon Drive.
Drive Type: Intermediate to Advance Level .
Meeting Point: Petrol Station Near Round About Al shuwaib (Google Coordinates 24.741687,55.800655)
N24 44.504 E55 48.031 (Format hddd.mm.mmm)
Meeting Time : 02:15Hrs.
Drive Start: 02:30Hrs.
Drive Route: Initial Start will be very Soft sand then Ending will be high dunes.
Duration : 3 hours minimum.Checklist:-
a) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition, with tow hooks at front & rear and with the spare tyre in good conditions.
b) Compatible Radio is a must.
c) Carry all necessary offroad gears, in good condition.
d) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
e) Full Tank fuel mustPlease read the following and register for the drive:-

More concerned about my Low bumpers. never been with this car in desert. hope i wont disturb the pace of the drive.

Congrats for your new ride and good to have LC in the convoy.
Is this your first drive in LC. If so then you need to take care and stay some where in middle of convoy. Most importantly you need to drive with momentum and should be careful of your departure angle..
It will be soft sand but don’t think will be difficult as you were a rock star in Grand Vitara itself..

Just back from our trip, had a shower and before we leave for dinner a fast post about the day ๐
Marshal Humayoon could not join initially so Aemi, took over the lead of the convoy, very well and from the start of the route. Congrats to him as this was not planned but did a great lead.
We had around 1 hour route until Humayoon could finnally join and we went all together then untill Super and Iftar bowl, still with Aemi on lead.
There we all could test properly the power of our machines :yesss: :drive:
Then just easy way back home and no big stucks to mention.
Only one thing was mentioned… ๐ night drive :o) :o)
Faheem and me thought any Thursday night could be fine, then a rest day, and then again Saturday afternoons…..
What do you think guys???? :-\

Nice drive with great company and what else can one expect to get recharged for the next week work….
I was on the Dubai Al Ain Highway after Outlet mall around 2pm when i received phone call from my wife that there is some emergency and needed me. I informed Aemi to take the lead and myself went back to attend her. Once she is alright i drove back to the meeting point and then got the coordinates from AEMI, joined the convoy at around 4pm when they were 6km inside from the start point.
We were only 6 cars as one driver never turned up and no message from him.
The Lead Marshall AEMI initially warmed up every body with few bee++drive and later was a fast/technical one and rated (Intermediate +) as we wanted to spice it a little bit for the team.
Everyone drove well without taking unnecessary risks. Although the intent was to test everyone’s reflexes and focus, AEMI was constantly giving a headsup to all the drivers on the radio preventing them from potential hiccups … that’s was too nice from him ….
We finished the drive as planned around sunset 5.50pm on top of Iftar Bowl and the route covered was shuwaib to super bowl to iftar bowl
All in all I enjoyed driving with all of you and it was fun.
Thank you for making it happen and special thanks to AEMI for accepting my request and leading the convoy with his own commendable/signature style ๐
