Learner’s + Intermediate Drive on Friday the 3rd of Jan ‘2014, Al Faqaa Area.
Meeting Place: Al Faq’aa Mosque ( Take right exit on Al Ain road towards Al Faqa and then take right after crossing Al Faqa Police Station, then the Mosque will be on your left )
The coordinates for the meeting point are:
N24 43.023 E55 37.235 – for GPS users
24.716852,55.620275 – google mapsMeeting Time 1330Hrs.
Drive Starts: 1345Hrs.
Drive Ends: At Sunset Approximately.Drive Type: Newbie / Intermediate.
Terrain: Tracks & DunesThis is interesting area with some high Dunes, some tricky very soft white sands that require technical driving and very quick responses and co-ordination.
All Senior Members and Marshals are most welcome to join.
Please carry enough water and food stuff for yourself and your passengers. Make sure your car is in good condition. Your car must be equipped with front and rear towing point and with the necessary Offroad Gear.
Juma Prayers can be attended at the mosque by the meeting point or at the Multiple Mosques along E-66 (Dubai – AL Ain Highway)

G’morning, unfortunately I had to remove my name from this trip :(( Apparently there’s a wedding on Jan 3rd that I “have” to go 🙁

Is this a good drive as one’s second desert drive? Had an easy ride with friends once b4.
I would really like to join with the family but can not be sure if it will be a suitable one and I also don’t want to ruin everyones ride as well..
Will appreciate if someone can guide me on this.
