Hi Ladies and Gentleman,
I’m over to buy a second car. One opportunity would be to buy a Discovery(2001). How is this car for the use off-road and are there any particular pro- or contra points regarding the mentioned car?

HIGH maintenance costs, thats the confirmed from the contradicting reviews of LRs in UAE. comfty on road and gets u to most known places in the desert.. good luck
True. Good car but expensive to maintain.
You have a good family car, my suggestion would be to get something rugged for offroad application, any SWB Japanese car Pajero/ Prado or the perennial off road favorite the Wrangler…
I should not be saying this, now that RR & Jaguar are both Indian owned Brands,
but I do not have a good impression on these cars due to essentially un-reliable electrics…

Nice Cars for sure, but like all guys said to expensive to maintain, other than that i’ve been out with some LR b4 they did amazingly specially bcs they have hight control.
