Superb drive early in the morning amongst some great old friends. Reached late at the meeting point as was undecided on joining till the last minute. Thankfully the team was still there and Firoz kindly accepted my late entry as he waited for some more time for a few irresponsible no-shows who never bothered informing.

Started off the drive with Firoz leading, Razik being second lead, followed by Abhilash, Artur and partner, Faraz, Himanshu and myself.

A good lead over some nice dunes and we were quickly on top discussing our drop down. Met up with some other old fellow offroader friends there and commenced our decent under Razikโ€™s watchful eye.
Moved on to Camel rock and Faya from there on with Firoz taking a superb line over some great dunes and bowls. We had a few stucks here and there which were quickly recovered by Himanshu and myself in minutes.

Artur and his partner kept alternating the driving and I must say that she also drove very well and never lost heart on certain climbs even after a few tries. Good going guys.

Abhilash โ€“ You managed to keep good pace with the convoy. Always remember that Gravity is your best friend in this extreme sport and drive safe.

Faraz โ€“ Great meeting you buddy. You made the Pajero dance to your tunes. Adding a flag to your arsenal will help the car behind you a lot. Super driving all in all.

Himanshu โ€“ A real pleasure meeting and driving with you. Always a smile on your face. Thanks for the company at the back and for all the recovery work. Great driving bro.

I called it a day after descending Faya as wanted to save some energy for the Ghost town bound Duncan express in the afternoon. The group moved on to Tawi from here on via dunes and tracks.

Thanks all for a morning well spent.
