Learner’s + Intermediate Drive on Friday the 20th of Jan ‘2014, Al Faq’aa :drive:
Meeting Place:
Al Faq’aa Mosque ( Take right exit on Al Ain road towards Al Faqa and then take right after crossing Al Faqa Police Station, then the Mosque will be on your left )

Meeting Time 03 : 45H pm
Drive Starts: 4 : 15 pm
Drive Ends: At 7 pm.approx.Terrain: Tracks & Dunes
This is interesting area with some high Dunes, some tricky very soft white sands that require technical driving and very quick responses and co-ordination.
All Senior Members and Marshals are most welcome to join.Please carry enough water and food stuff for yourself and your passengers.
Make sure your car is in good condition.
Your car must be equipped with front and rear towing point and with the necessary Offroad GearKindly register for the drive by clicking ‘Register for trip’ Button below this post.

Looking forward to this drive!
It will be my last for this summer as I’m leaving town on saturday for 2 months, will miss the dessert =((

Quite right…I have my Dubai-Al Ain highway exits confused.
Hopefully the schedule allows me to make the drives this weekend.

This was a fun drive, started off as 2 convoys of about 7-8 cars in each convoy, but within like an hour and half, after couple of pop outs and getting stuck, we made this into a single convoy of 15 cars !!!! went through some tricky high dunes and steeeeeeeep bumps…… all in all it was a fun drive and enjoyed it a lot. Lets have some more blast next weekend.. Thanks to Firoz, Razik, Rakesh and all for your support. :thanks: :thanks: :drive: :drive:

As usual it was a interesting and enjoyable drive.
Some tricky little dunes and soft sands.
Overall a good drive and some recovery as well as the dark drive on the way back .
