The early morning drive once again had a good turn out following last week… Think Asharaf’s morning drives are becoming “a thing”. ๐Ÿ˜€
The convoy of 8 left the meeting spot at Badayer shortly after everyone had arrived on Asharaf’s exploration drive :yesss: heading through the desert towards ghost town… No ghosts to be seen, now that Halloween is over… However they did come to haunt us with a few occasional stucks once leaving ghost town where the sand was very soft in places – occasional also meaning two within probably about 2 minutes-! ๐Ÿ˜•
The size of dunes shortly after ghost town towards Shuwaib caused a few issues with bumpers and licence plates but other than that very enjoyable. Once leaving the small dunes the dunes gradually got bigger passing a number of larger bowls for everyone to enjoy. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Unfortunately there wasn’t time to travel the whole distance to Shuwaib as per the original plan and so we exited near Al Madam Mosque… It was an excellent drive with a great mix of all types of driving conditions, I am looking forward to the next :drive:
:thanks: to the lead – Asharaf and Jassim as sweep and of course to all the other convoy members for a great day out. :ymhug:
