Dubai Offroaders – Disclaimerquote Iwamas:Do we need proper off-road lights installed?Hi Ashraf
It’s always advisable to have additional lights installed to aid visibility in the dark.
Faheem, Baher, Dennis, Bahaa and Vijay are regular night drivers so maybe they might be able to accomodate you somewhere in the middle of the convoy and you can get by with the illumination from the other rigs.
If you do wish to install lights than Faheem might have some LEDs left from the stock he had ordered for DO members sometime back. If they are available, you can just pick it up from Ras Al Khor and get it installed within half a day.

<while I was typing, Sajid already replied, but I will not let this message go in vain> :))
Driving at night requires driver to be more alert, and proper extra lights help a lot increasing visibility, so they are highly recommended. By the way, Marshall Faheem who happens to lead this night drive was having some LED bars, you might wanna check if he still has some if you decide to do more night drives.
Many drivers can perform good enough with stock lights.
This particular drive is more of a leisure rather than to put drivers to extreme, last time we only had 2 cars with extra lights, mine was flickering due to a bad fuse, so I didnt use it. No casualties. On another note, it would be great having 2 Raptors in one drive, as long as they dont get stuck at same time ๐

Hi,
You are most welcome.
Kindly confirm which is the car you will be driving.
If it is Honda MRV 2003 model, pls confirm that there is 4 wheel low range and high range in the car. Also check for towing points front/rear and be aware as it is mandatory for desert driving.
