Ghost town drive was very interesting to say the least… I’d say the biggest lesson learned from the drive is to always make sure the cars in the convoy are suitably equipped for off-roading. Proper tow points in the front and back, and a good spare tire at the very least.

Another important lesson, is to stay close (relatively close) to the car in front of you so that you are able to follow its tracks.

i enjoyed being second lead car on this drive because I got to see how the Marshall navigated and chose different path options as we went along.

A big thank you to the marshals and sweepers..
    Cheers

Wov, that sounds amazing. How long do you think will it take to drive to the ghost town?

The Newbie convoy had quite a few hiccups along the way but the convoy as a whole worked very well together as a team whether it was fixing pop outs, replacing tyres or recovery in difficult positions.

It is very important to read and abide by the ”rules of the trip” & ”the equipment one needs for offroading” posts which are mentioned when every drive is posted. It makes life difficult for all when some of us are negligent. So as Ashraf mentioned the above are some of the most basic and necessary things needed for off-roading.

Thank you to all for helping out and keeping the spirit up through out the drive! See you all soon. :thanks: :drive:
