quote Asif:hi all,
is this drive suitable for a newbie? i have just a couple of drives under my belt, and only last week joined DO, would love to get my first DO drive in but wanted to check if the planned route is suitable ……..You are most welcome to join as.
Its all level Drive
Due to a great turnout today of 18 cars and the amount of marshals we were separated into two convoys. ๐ The newbie convoy was taken care of by Joe and Baher.
The two star and above convoy was led by Zac and swept by Duncan.
We had a number of various occurrences from stucks, pop outs, damaged bumpers, sand in our eyes and potentially damaged axel. ๐ฎ
The latter meaning Zac had to hand over the reins of leading to Duncan and Walter to sweep just after leaving Super Bowl. Walter had his work cut out helping various situations in the last hour whilst the wind was howling and sand flying! :ymapplause: The drive was just so much more challenging then normal due to the visibility and wind but we all made it out!
Eventually we made it back to Badayer before sunset all looking forward t o get home and wash off that sand. Thanks again to everyone – see you guys soon. :drive:
Lesson learnt this week – bring ski goggles when it’s windy! B-)
July 24, 2015 at 7:47 pm #33499The for the great ride, technical and fun.
The spare radio was handed over to Walter, hope it finds back to the owner … everybody was just rushing home.quote Asif:Am so happy to know you enjoy the Driver and hope to see you soon.
One more thing I think you mean marshal Abdallah with nickname @badboy
