So we met at badayer at 6.30 for Denis’s treat of a Midweek morning haunt in what was witnessed to be a cool 23C for a short time! :yesss:

The turnout surprised me as I pulled up only expecting there to be 5 cars as per the last time I checked the site registrations … Clearly more people wanted to be haunted today. In the end I believe we were 10 cars. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

We deflated and waited for the remainder to arrive and then set off through the dunes in direction of super bowl.
For those who wanted they could attempt to climb the back of the bowl at different angles and approaches.

Leaving here we made the nice crest into Super Bowl and headed direction ghost town. The dunes at this point got noticeably smaller and technical with some occasional soft patches. We all managed nicely.

Meandering our way through we reached our goal for a break and had time to investigate this “lost city”. :-s
Once we left we continued our trip to exit at the petrol station at madam to realize that to find an exit through the fence was more challenging then any recoveries or second attempts today. ๐Ÿ˜€

We ended up finally finding an exit through the fence at the cattle market after seeing some traders chasing after an escaped goat trying to escape towards ghost town. On that note Eid Mubarak!

:thanks: Thanks again to Denis lead, Elie as second lead, saif as sweep, Sam as cameraman and of course all other members.

Today’s drive from badayer to madam covered 32.3 Kms in 3 Hours 26 mins.

    Eid Mubarak everyone.

Yesterday was my inaugural morning trip this season and it was better than expected. Thanks Dennis and team.

With a fabulous weather, mixes of high and technical yet clean dunes, and the confident lead of Dennis, we enjoyed every crest and twist that came our way. It was a hassle free, well paced outing, with leisure stops at the right moments, ending at Ghost town, a first for me. A site with lots of potential. BBQing and over night stays definitely crossed my mind and quickly my friend Yamen was scouting the grounds for the safest options, should we go crazy sometime in the near future… Be safe !

Thanks a lot guys for a perfect time spent in cool weather and within great company. Looks like ghosts were sleeping dead, since we had no issues at all, well maybe except only finding that hole in the fence to get to tarmac ๐Ÿ˜€ thanks to Yamen for finding it ๐Ÿ˜‰
At times I had to change the route due to too soft sand and Elie as second lead did great job, as I could easily turn around and find a safer way out without bumping into anyone, so thanks Elie :ymhug:
While driving to meeting point and trying to allocate the convoy, I received a phone call that changed the fate of the drive. It was Saif, who decided to join and it was the best news and I didnt care any more about convoy allocation, as I knew all will be good now anyway :yesss: Thanks bro :ymhug:
And soon after the drive Im looking at our website and see that there are already even videos uploaded and theres even the drive report :ymparty: Thanks Sam and Philip :thanks:

Thanks again to each and everyone, amazing convoy made the drive smooth and pleasant.
Here we come again at night soon 8-X 8-X 8-X :-BD \M/
