Introducing DO Deputies

    A new group on Dubai Offroaders has been introduced. These are the members carefully selected by the marshals to support them on the DO drives as mobile rescue units.

    Deputies are excellent drivers who are patient with the members and are sharing the passion of helping others like the DO marshals.

    Current deputies are:

    You will notice they have a badge like the DO marshals and rangers in their profile.

    It’s my pleasure to welcome all the members who have been chosen as Deputies by the Marshals.
    This selection is purely democratic and totally merit based and various factors including Emergency preparedness, Commitment, Leadership quotient, Responsibility and attitude among others are considered to select these Members for their role of responsibility.
    Yes, incidentally they are all good off road drivers, too. 😉
    The same criteria is applied when choosing Rangers and Marshals too and being a deputy is essential grooming for a Marshal’s Role, in due course of time.
    Congratulations to all the Deputies, and your new motto henceforth is “Be Safe and Keep safe!!!”

    Congratulations to everyone on a well earned responsibility, a vital part of our weekly fun on the sand. Now having said that, I am stuck in snow since yesterday morning, can anyone help? 😀

    Thanks for the Tip Joe. I will try to find my car under the snow, and just wonder which tires to deflate on a Renault Megane Sport :-\ 😕
