    NOTE: afternoon meeting point coordinates updated and moved slightly at end of the road that leads to desert.

    Drive Type AFTERNOON: NEWBIE,/FEWBIE, INTER/ADVANCE , 2 separate Convoys, depending on the total number of registrations
    Meeting Point: Al Faqaa West
    Google maps users: 24.679639, 55.579556
    GPS users: 24°40’46.7″N 55°34’46.4″E

    Meeting Time: 02:00
    Drive Start: 02:30
    Drive End: sundown
    Duration: 3.5 + Hours
    Drive Route: Al Faqaa Area

    Drive Type Night: fewbie 1 convoy
    Drive Start: 7:30 pm
    Drive End: midnight
    Duration: 3/4 Hours
    Drive Route: Al Faqaa East to badayer shops
    NOTE: night drive for fewbie and above level only
    we will start the night drive after refueling at 7:30pm from al faqaa east google map:https://www.google.com/maps/place/ADNOC+Service+Station/@24.6967385,55.6304117,316m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x0000000000000000:0xa6d2f44a39b72c7d and we shall stop for bbq befor badayer.

    BRING YOUR OWN FOOD/SHISHA/REFRESHMENTS ETC

    Checklist:
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

    Great looking trip Abdalla. If I do not end up joining the Wagan/Hameen drive Friday evening then I will surely join this night drive. Cannot make the day drive as I have a sailing race :((

    No esho matt I made this plan for those who can’t join the wagan drive
    I highly recommend members to join ahmed pervez trip as it’s An opportunity to enjoy and explore a new area with professional leaders in peace of mind.

    I’m the first person who will miss a great opportunity, but work comes first if I need to pay for my offroad bills.

    its ok badboy, petrol is very cheap these days 😀
    unless ur really filling up these iceboxes =))

    Thanks Abdalla. I am going to take your advice and join Ahmed’s trip. I will drive down and meet them at camp after sailing.

    After more than 1 month break I am back in action. :drive:
    Waiting to see how the mods on my car will perform.
    Al Faqa is one of my favourite place to drive. See you guys there on Friday! :ymhug:

    Team, I just joined Dubai off-roader group and would like to join the trip but do not have night drive lights yet installed on my vehicle. Can I join the newbie day drive? I have 2015 JKU and all the gear… Thx, Abdou

    Hello Abdou,

    welcome to DO !
    You can join the day drive, just hit the green button below the announcement.

    For the night drive extra offroad lamps are not mandatory but some experience is, therefore Abdallah arranged this one for Fewbie and above drivers.
    This means we will have 2 separate :drive: on Friday after each other.
