Day and date: Friday the 30th of September 2015
Drive Type: Easy to Medium depending upon the driver’s gradations and/or Drive leader’s initiative.
Meeting Point: On Al Hayer Sweihan Road after Nahil Town off E66.

Drive Start: 1400 Hrs. 02:00 PM
Drive End: 17:30 Hrs. 05:30PM in the Dunes behind Al Ain Airport
Duration: 5:30Hrs.
Drive Route: Tracks and some very large Dunes, with some exceptional scenery
Drive Terrain: Picturesque with tall Dunes.The meeting point is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes drive away from Dubai, so please plan accordingly.
The eventual destination is the Red Dunes behind Al’Ain International Airport, which is a beautiful play area and where we expect to reach just before Sunset.
Checklist:
a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
d) Compatible Radio is a must.
e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

Jumaa prayer finishes around 1 so is it possible to start 2:30 ?Wa Alaikum Salaam Ali, we intend to pray at the nearest Mosque which is in Al nahil and then start the drive.
The Jumaa prayers typically finish between 1230-1245 Hrs.
The reason to start this drive early is that the Dunes in this area are very large so that the members have time to play as well as sometimes large Dunes may lead to certain unpredictable recovery situations., so we should have time in hand.

@Prasad: Google map link is working now, It is not difficult to reach the meeting point, use the ”send to phone” feature in Google maps. If you still require a landmark (hard to find in near desert kind of place :-)) here you go…
If your coming from Al hayer side, the meeting point comes after Al Bedaa primary school, which comes after Najel park on the left hand side.
I was waiting for this area long time :yesss:
