If you are not 2 star, please do not waste my time by asking if you can come. The answer is NO! Your time will come once you have attained the required number of stars.

    Hey All,

    Getting amped for this trip.

I am planning to drive back to Dubai from Hameem along the Saudi border then via Um Al Zamool & Al Quoaa, into Al Ain, etc. I will drive the tarmac with no planned offroad (famous last words 😉 ) . I would like to take this route to simply see what the landscape is like out there and venture to a UAE corner that I have not been to before. It will add approx 2 hours and 200Km to the trip home. If anyone would like to join me just let me know :ymhug:

Matt it will be dark just to let you know, unless you are planning to camp another night in Himeen.

Would any one want to leave the evening before around 5 or 6, and camp not far from the drive or a set meeting point ?
that way we don’t wake at 3 for a full day drive.

True Duncan. I guess it will really only make sense if we finish around 3 or 4. If not then I would just plan to return the normal way.
