Let’s leave the city limits and head to one of the most remote beaches in the UAE. It borders the Saudi border and is as far northwest as you can get in the UAE (on land that is). We will head out thursday evening so that we can have two beautiful nights and mornings/days on the secluded, sheltered beach. If you wish to drive up Friday morning instead at a more leisurely pace you can do so.

Bring your family, bring your pets, bring your beach toys, and bring your warm clothes as it will be cold at night.

    Checklist:
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

We are in and will drive up on Friday morning. We went this way a few weeks ago and it’s continuous roadworks after you get past AD city which might slow you down on Thursday night.

Hi Mathieu. We are very much interested and I will try my best to join.
I wonder if I can go with my other car: Honda Pilot (MRV) wich is a 4WD very confirtable for the road but its bumpers are not designed for dune bashing rides. Will we be driving on some dunes?

Hi Guys, I have to apologize on this one. I did not look at my calendar correctly. The weekend Jan 13th/14th is not good for me to do this trip. I will aim to do it in early to mid-Feb. There just aren’t enough weekends in the month for all the fun activities 🙂
