Drive Type: multiple level drive depending on member/marshal registrations
Meeting Point: sweihan – al ain road || COORDINATES TO BE SHARED PRIVATELY VIA PM
AS OF NOW, THIS DRIVE WILL BE LIMITED TO A SELECT NUMBER OF MEMBERS WITHIN THE NEWBIE GROUP, WHO HAVE COMPLETED AT LEAST 5 DRIVES WITH DO. ONLY THE FIRST 10 MEMBERS TO REGISTER WILL BE TAKEN ON BOARD! HOWEVER WE MIGHT RECONSIDER LATER ON IN THE WEEK AND EXTEND THE LIMIT. WE WILL BE HAVING A SHORT BREAK FOR LUNCH ONLY, SO PLEASE BRING ALONG READY MEALS AND QUICK SNACKS…Meeting Time: 9:30 am
Drive Start: 10:00 am
Drive End: ~6:00pm/sundown
Duration: full dayDrive Route: sweihan E16 to E75
Drive Terrain: large dunes, huge bowls and very soft sands

-PLEASE BE THERE ON TIME! WE SHALL NOT WAIT FOR LATE COMERS
-A FULL TANK OF FUEL IS A MUST!
-IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CARRY A COMPATIBLE RADIO TUNED TO DO FREQUENCIES FOUND HERE (RADIO FREQUENCIES) PLEASE READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL AND GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS OF THE DEVICE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW TO MANUALLY INPUT A FREQUENCY!! ANYONE WITHOUT A PROPERLY CONFIGURED RADIO, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE DRIVE, FOR SAFETY REASONS!Checklist:
a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
d) Compatible Radio is a must.
e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).Hope to see you all there for some Friday fun \M/

Don’t think I qualify as I am not yet a Newbie nor do I have 5 drives. Joe assume you would notify who is selected in. Hope there is other drives for all levels.

I will have to let it go this week :-s, if I want to join next week’s Liwa drive 8-} . This is what the agreement with my wife says 😉 .

Pierre in the Red Pajero has now got big phat Geolander tyres on new much smaller off road rims, his Pajero is looking pimped up and ready for the dunes.
Would love to come along for the Friday drive but only had 4 drives with the club so far. I have been on quite a number of drives outside of the club so wondered if I could be considered for this one?

For all the newbies,
rules are simple if you complete minimum of 5 drives with DO then you will be qualified for this drive.I can see some member register with less than 5 drive, just reminder the meeting location will be sheared by pm for the qualified member only.
