Day and date: Friday, February 3rd
Drive Type: All Level drive – Absolutely all members are welcome!
Meeting Point: Faqaa West (usual spot under the tree next to the mosque)

Drive Start: 2.20PM
Drive End: Sunset (out by 6pm)
Duration: 3+ hours
Drive Route: Technical dunes / Long ridges / Soft sand.a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition.
d) Compatible Radio is a must.
e) A full tank of fuel is a must.
f) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
g) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).-DO MARSHALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY PARTICIPATION OF ANY ILL-EQUIPPED OR UNSUITABLE VEHICLE!

That’s fine for the first drive. Just make sure your radio channels are programmed to DO frequencies. As soon as you reach the meeting point, start deflating and put up your flag and you will be ready to go!

this will be my first drive with dubai offroaders i have been driving with another club but i am still in junior level , is this trip will be suitable for my family to join ( 2 years daughter with a great love of desert and sand )

Probably, we will welcome you in the Newbies convoy. With proper car seat for your precious daughter, it should be fine.
Looks like it’s going to get really cold on Friday. Temperatures forecasted are between 14 and 17 degrees (as per Google). We might also experience a sandstorm and some rain. Don’t forget your umbrellas guys, especially the convertible Wranglers!
Guys as Dubai Tour is happening over the week-end, please avoid E44 on your way to Al Faqaa this Friday. Only take E66 (Dubai – Al Ain road).
Especially those of you coming from Sharjah.

Unfortunately wont be able to make it to the trip. Jeep’s still in service, will be getting it after the weekend.. Enjoy guys!

I like to be prepared.My question was straightforward: which channel are we going to use for this trip, or will it be suggested at the meeting point?

At the meeting point the Marshals will give a briefing and will assign radio channels to different convoys.
