All level Newbie/ Fewbie/ Intermediate Drive on Friday the 17 of November ‘2017

The drive is closed for further registerations. Ben leny is thr final.member.

Day and date : Friday, 17th November ‘2017
Drive Type : All level, depending on Marshals availability .
Meeting Point : Entrance Gate at Saih As Sidirah Road- (Al Faqaa)
GPS Users N24° 37.766′ E55° 25.171’

Meeting point is approx 90 minutes from Dubai- Please plan your journey accordingly

Meeting Time : 14:45 Hrs. (2:45pm)
Drive Start: 15:00 Hrs. (3:00pm) SHARP
Convoy Size: All levels dependent on Marshals

Inter goes advance !! 1 Inter/advance convoy of 6 cars excluding lead. Members will be selected on a first come, first served basis in order of sign up and subject to marshal approval.

Drive Route: Beautiful and untouched dunes, lots of ridges and steep dunes (soft sand 😉 )

Checklist:-
a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
b) Carry compressor with you and ensure its in working condition.
c) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with full fuel tank.
d) Compatible Radio is a must.
e) Carry all necessary offroad gears / recovery equipment in good condition.
f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

I am hoping to get my Jeep before the end of the week and would be interested in joining. If i can get the wlakie talkie in time can i join or do i need to install the recovery hooks before i join? thanks

Hey, the Jeep Wrangler comes with recovery points front and rear as standards, so you won’t have to get anything installed. Pick up the flag, walkie talkie and compressor you should be good to go.

Yes I actually just went to see the car and realised that the recovery points are already there!

Where am I best to get the flag from?

And he compressor I would like is not currently in stock. Would I be able to attend without the compressor or is this a mandatory requirement.

Hey,

For the flag, compressor and flag mount you can get it all at Ramy 4×4. They instal a mount that you can screw a off road flag on to that sits behind your spare tyre. And they can also install a air compressor into your car.

I would recommend a compressor because you don’t know where the finishing point could be and the distance to the nearest petrol station, so to be safe and to protect your tyres re inflate straight after the drive.
