The desert areas are always very popular for all segments of society. The hills, sandy squares and road sides witness individual and collective activities such as off road activity’s, camping, etc. The level of environmental awareness varies among those who leave the place clean and collect the waste resulting from its activity. And those who waste without thinking about who will take advantage of the place after, in addition to distorting the overall appearance. The society, with all its members and categories, must contribute seriously and actively to the responsibility of protecting our natural resources and our environment for the present generation and future generations, and to make this contribution a true and sincere translation.

For those who want to participate in desert cleaning we will have small brief regarding safety while collecting waste, the duration is 30-45 minutes, Its optional and for those who want to leave after drive they can.

There will be a BBQ night in Nazwa area for those who wish to join we will have one convoy from big red towards nazwa shops it will take us around 10 minutes to reach the entry point and from there more 10 minutes to bbq spot, bring your own BBQ set, food, cooler box, and wood for bone fire.

    Hello dhruv

First of all the welcome to Dubai Offroaders

You need to have flaq and radio to join our drives that’s the first off road equipment all members need to have it before starting to off road

Regarding your stock ram I’m 101% sure that it will break the bumper in your first drive

Therefore I suggest to buy radio and flaq and find solutions for your bumper.

You will find in the forum where you can get radio and flaq and even you can ask other members what to do for your bumper in the chat.

    Regards

For the bumper… lets see how long it lasts. I cant buy an offroad bumper without going to the desert at least once and figuring out everything.

    See you soon Inshallah

    Hi Dhruv,

    Welcome to Dubai Offroaders!

In regards to your bumper, you don’t need to BUY a new off road bumper. you would just need to remove it for the drive. i’m sure you can take it to any garage you prefer and they can remove it and store it for 1 day and then you can put it back on after the drive or the following day.

i use to do that for the lower lip of my silverado a few years ago. just a suggestion if you really wanna join this friday’s drive.

in regards to the Flag and radio, you can go to Dragon Mart in the morning and pick it up from there.
you can also find the info regarding where you get your radio from the link below:

Thankyou Jibraan 🙂 Unfortunately, not this week. I will try and join next week. yes there is a bumber lip which i can remove permanently and get 2 more inches of clearance but wouldn’t improve the approach angle much. I dont want to remove the chrome bumper .It also has the number plate. It would be weird without a bumper. i will try to join next week.
