Day and date: Sat 31 AUG
Drive Type: multiple level all-day drive, depending on member/marshal registrations
Meeting Point: Dubai al Ain rd (E66) || MAP LINK || 24°27’22.3″N 55°45’54.4″EMeeting Time: 9:30am
Drive Start: 10:00am
Drive End: ~6:00pmLast petrol station: Dubai al Ain rd (E66) || 24°28’22.9″N 55°46’29.6″E
We will be covering 60+Kms of sand so pls make sure u have a full tank!!Drive Route: from masaken at (E66) heading west to al nagrah (sand mountain) exiting at sweihan – al ain rd (E16)
Drive Terrain: medium technical and large dunes, sabkhas, and gravel roadsChecklist:
a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
a) Carry an air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
b) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect working condition and with enough fuel.
c) Compatible Radio is a must.
d) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
e) Carry enough water for self & passengers.
DO MARSHALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY PARTICIPATION OF ANY ILL-EQUIPPED OR UNSUITABLE VEHICLE!
PLEASE BE THERE ON TIME! MEETING POINT IS AT LEAST 1:30HRS AWAY FROM DUBAI, SO PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CARRY A COMPATIBLE RADIO TUNED TO DO FREQUENCIES FOUND HERE (RADIO FREQUENCIES)
PLEASE READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL AND GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS OF THE DEVICE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW
TO MANUALLY INPUT A FREQUENCY!! ANYONE WITHOUT A PROPERLY CONFIGURED RADIO, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE DRIVE, FOR SAFETY REASONS!Hello i have just confirmed attending- i am a new member with some decent off road desert experience from the past and had not had the chance to join similar club trips before- could you tell me if other than the necessary equipment for preparation i should be mindful of anything else? as i do not know any people in the thread or the club it will be a good opportunity for a face to face meet on the ground at the meeting point- should i prepare for or bring along anything else?

everything will be discussed and further explained at the meeting point while briefing, so not to worry. but pls go through the drive post and make sure u have all the essentials, and that ur radio is configured to our frequencies. see u soon!Hello all- it was a pleasure to meet you all on Saturday and i had a blast
