Family outing to Musandam on December 5th & 6th

Finally again we are going to Musandam… wowoow…..

Meeting : 7.45 AM (Emarat Petrol station after sharjah Tasjeel on Emirates Road)
Convoy will be leaving sharp 8.00 AM.

This is 2 days Trip.

Following are few details about Musandam Trip

It’s a nice drive till Khassab, There are alot of swings on the beach for kids we will have a stopover for pictures and kids to enjoy (depend on the Weather). We will reach at the border after two hours of drive. Its two and half to three hours drive from meeting till Khasab (Depends on the border). Then we will move to Khor Najd, amazing view from there. Then we will go to Jebel Harim, the Highest point in Musandam around 2,087 meter high. You’ll see some amazing old mountains on your way to Jebel Harim. It’s a steep drive( no road just like we have in Hatta but steeper) up there but really nice.

You need to have your passport, car registration license and oman insurance. If you do not have Oman insurance, it can be obtained from the border at the cost of AED 100

Expected to reach Kassab by 11.30…

After the lunch break we will go for mountain drive and before sunset we wil be back and camp at the kassab beach..

Even though its a smalll place you will get all kind of food there….

before the sun set we will be back to kassab beach and camp there..

Day 2.

DHOW CRUISE or Mountain drive…

DHOW CRUISE is half day program. (AED 150 per person), my friend was there last week he saw plenty of dolphin playing around..

Enjoy an unforgettable day cruising along the “Fjords of Musandam” on board our traditionally decorated Omani Dhow, where you can sit comfortably on cushions and carpets while feasting your eyes on the striking scenery. A Dhow trip to the fjords offers an insight into its fantastic landscape. During the Dhow cruise you can cruise into the Straits of Hormuz and discover different villages. The Dhow is anchored at the famous Telegraph Island, where you can swim and snorkel in the clear waters,(Snorkeling gears & life jackets will be provided) there is also the possibility to see dolphins during on the way. Refreshments, soft drinks and mineral water will be served and is included.

If we have more members interested for DHOW cruise then I can negotiate with them.

Please let me know which option you prefer for the second day. Then I can plan it accordingly.
