Habcrook Motors is charging me AED1100 for new brake pads… at 29,000km driven.
Does a usual service warranty include brake pads?
Is AED1100 too expensive?
Are brakes usually changed around 29,000km?
Its a new car – got the 60,000km or 3 yrs service warranty.
I only paid extra for 100,000km drive train warranty…
best suggestion is.. buy the break pad from the authorised dealers and fix it from outside.. for the front n bak for my prado i pay only 400 dhs.. including the labour charges…
i used to do it from al futtaim n dey used to charge my 980 for the same job..
stuff like this can be done outside, no rocket science involved & also they wont void warranty because its an original part.
get the original parts, come over to my place … can do it over some special coffee from Roshan.
Rupesh is man for fixing stuff. I saw pics of him dismantling an entire car and them fixing it back in 2 hours ? :p
you talking about this Roshan? 😛
best option Sahmed as i mentioned earlier is to buy the original oem part from outside and get it fixed outside, no hassle over warranty because its an oem part. they wouldn’t know or wouldn’t care either.
Got the OEM brake pads from Divya Trading in Shj Industrial Area.
Front AED250
Rear AED200
Total AED450
Saved AED350 vs Habtoor.
Next stop will be a service center to check out exactly how worn out they really are…
