Sizzling Saturday, the 7th of March, 2009
Half-day trip in the sands not far away from Dubai. Early start and out of sands by 1130 hrs.
Meeting time – 8.30 AM
Start time – 8.45 AM
Area – TBA. I have two possible routes in mind and shall finalise one based on the participation confirmedLevel of difficulty: Easy to intermediate.
Participation: all are welcome but Newbies not encouraged to join this trip
Requirements:
1. Basic recovery kit (tow rope, D-shackle, shovel, pressure gauge, jacking board) is must
2. Car should have front and rear recovery points/hook
3. Radio, Compressor, Flag, Gloves, GPS, sand ladder etc. are advisable but not must.If interested, please register here

i am not confused about friday and saturday trips.just a suggestion. starting off at 8.45 am in the morning seems to be too late. and its started to get pretty hot already. cudnt we make it earlier. ?

appreciate your point. my expereince in past has not been very encouraging about the very early start trips. In any case, we can consider commencing the trip at 8am from BigRed, provided there’s a general consensus amongst the participants registered for the trip. Even if there’s no general opinion for early start this time, your suggestion taken note of for the next trip.

Just got to know that from my company that holiday for prophet’s bday is on sunday. that means i will have to cancel saturday plans and be at work. you guys carry on as planned. Will try to join in some other time…..
