    Convoy Departure Points:
    Adnoc, King Faisal St. at 5.00hrs – for people driving in from Shj
    Dragon Mart at 5.20hrs – for newbies
    Emirates Petrol Pump, Lahbab at 5.45hrs – final consolidation point

    Trip Brief:
    Causal drive for Fewbies – Pink Rock/Big Red
    Entry 6.15hrs, Exit 8.45hrs
    Breakfast at Sakhi Restaurant (opposite Big Red)

    Recommended Equipment:
    Spare Tyre + Jacking Board + Car Manual
    Tow Rope + Shackles + Tow Points (front & rear)
    Air Pressure Gauge + Deflation Tool
    Shovel
    Walkie

    General Instructions:
    Be prepared for delays. Sand driving can be unpredictable.
    Carry water 2ltr/person.

    Guys, lets make it a little early, alternatively make sure we must enter thhe desert positively by 6 am.

    Now a days sun is out pretty early and it gets too bright and too hot for a early morning drive.

    Ok guys….we’ll enter by 6am sharp. Tht means deflation complete by 5.50am. If its still dark, we’ll do a bit of night drive 😉

    I appreciate early enterancce in the Play ground, and hope we shall actualy enter at 6. am.

    I dont think it will be dark at 6 am.

    BTW Roshan, If you are free, can we have an easy night drive (arrounf 7 to 9 or 8 to 9.30 or so) on thursday??? (question is to all CWR team and other MEO friends)

    Last thursday i went to Mirdif area in night, but I stick to the tracks and small dunes along the road, was afraid of going inside, Coz I was alone and accompanied by Home Minister who did not alow to go deep in sand. 🙁

    But :drive: was real fun, I enjoyed it alot.

    Thursday night might be difficult for me coz I go to church…but friday night I can think abt it. Last two weeks myself & Dino have been going at night after 9pm and having a small bonfire there. We carry some hot dogs and munch there after a short drive. It was fun … 🙂
    We’ll talk abt this when we meet up for breakfast. humsafar !! Looks like you’re getting too addicted to the sand 😀
